Positives and negatives of New Zealand’s franchise legislation is one of the topics to be discussed at NZ's National Franchise Conference which takes place in June.

While franchising legislation exists in most countries, New Zealand is in the majority in that franchise partnerships are overseen by normal commercial law. The introduction of legislation in Australia a few years ago has increased interest here, and the issue will be the topic of a debate at the New Zealand franchise conference.

It will also discuss issues of particular importance to both franchisors and franchisees. International franchises in NZ will be conducting both a seminar and workshops on how to maximise profits within your business – franchisor or franchisee.
